I actually designed this pattern for a friend who wanted a gift for her dad who is a retired pilot. It is a great stained glass piece for someone who works in aviation or even a traveller.
The design is based on a photo I took when I was on a flight leaving Manhattan in 2013. The photo was taken on someone's iPad and the photo doesn't do justice to what the view was truly like. You can actually see the photo of inspiration in the photos on this listing.
This listing has (2) different variations. One is a softer blue sky with a black patina and one is a darker blue sky with a silver solder. Photos should change when you click the option, but if you have any questions please feel free to email me.
The final pieces measure approx. 9" tall x 6.5" wide.
Finished with a black patina, waxed, polished, and ready for its new home. Each piece is handcrafted by me so it does have imperfections.
Includes a care sheet with instructions on how to maintain the quality of your piece for years to come.
